To the women who sometimes go unseen.
They may not manage multi-million dollar companies nor lead teams of 500, but their organizations create waves of opportunities and transformation within our small little province.
These women have given their best to our communities and my hope is to be able to give our best back to them.

I founded The Night of Influence Awards Gala, as a means of giving back to a community that has supported me for so many years.
After almost two decades of business ownership in this beautiful province, I have been blessed to be mentored, coached, and taken under the wing of some of the world's best leaders – right here in Atlantic Canada.
While there is a multitude of awards ceremonies for entrepreneurs who fit certain criteria, there are truly no locally focused awards for leaders of all backgrounds and sizes. Our communities are built on the backbone of these lean-in type leaders, the ones who shape culture and uplift the next generation of leaders.
This event is my way of saying, ”Hey, I see you, and I thank you for what you have done!”

Anyone can nominate for the Night of Influence Awards. You can also nominate yourself.
Nominees are emailed to be made aware of their nomination. They'll need to accept the nomination along with the information request by the deadline to move through the next process.
Finalists are chosen by an anonymous board of community leaders. They will be looking through all applications and verifying criteria. This is an extremely important and yet hard process for this group of volunteers. A max of 3 finalists in each category will be chosen with the winner being unveiled at the Gala.
Nominees no, finalists yes. All finalists will be made aware of their selection and are expected to be in attendance at the event.
Unfortunately, we cannot offer discounted or complimentary tickets to the event. However, we do have scholarships available for those finalists that cannot afford the ticket please email (here) in confidence to get yours.
